PURE FM is a premium-quality, food-grade, synthetic polyalphaolefin
(PAO) grease developed for use as a lubricant in
applications where there is the possibility of incidental food contact.
It is recommended for use in food processing, bottling and
sanitary equipment operating at low or high temperatures.
PURE FM meets the requirements of NSF International (formerly
U.S. FDA Regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 and USDA H-1 standards).
It protects against corrosion and wear and has excellent
resistance to water washout.
PURE FM is formulated with premium-quality synthetic PAO-base
oil thickened with silica gel. It is compounded with special foodgrade
additives to provide protection against oxidation, rust and
corrosion, and wear.
PURE FM is water resistant and provides excellent protection
against oxidation, corrosion, and rust in applications where fruit
acids or saline solutions are encountered. It also provides good
protection against wear.

• Machinery used in canneries, meat and poultry plants
• Bottling plants and other food processing applications
• Seamers operating at high speeds and pressures
• Industrial applications requiring a transparent, nonstaining
grease
• Applications where water pollution laws prohibit lubricants
from leaving an oil sheen on the surface of the water, such as
protecting dredging
• Cables immersed in seawater(1)
(1)Note: Surfaces coated with Pure FM Grease will not leave an oil sheen
when immersed in water, unlike conventional mineral oil based greases.
